When I see it I see a tap, albeit a little embarassed one like "I hope the ref sees this and nobody else".

    I don't see how Warren could've escaped.

Obviously Fernandes felt it which was why he freaked out after the fight and flipped off Warren and Team Quest.

But I don't think the ref should've stopped the fight. I think he should've let Fernandes bend the elbow until Warren tapped out vigorously. Leave no question about it. Supposing Fernandes wouldn't have let go after feeling the pat on his knee.

It's really questionable, that's for sure.

It's a tap, but I think it's the type of tap where he doesn't want the ref to see it but he hopes his opponent feels it so he lets go.

Good point man. I would definitely have let the fight go on a bit more until it was clear.

That was a damn deep armbar. If the ref didn't stop it there, Warren's arm would be in a cast for awhile.

I think it was a sheepish tap.

James Thompson's ear is pretty bad usually, and his ears stick out from his head a fair amount to make it more noticeable.

^ Never should've been cleared to fight.

Seriously lol, it doesn't look like Warren was going to escape that. Unless he could have pulled off a Rich Franklin!

Franklin's opponent there is Lutter btw.

That is probably one of the best sub escapes I've ever scene.

    It looks pretty awesome.

But I'd have to include slams as impressive sub escapes as well like:

    and

lol, can't find Hughes-Newton slam, although Hughes technically didn't escape as he went out as the slam landed.
