Milwaukee Bucks coach Jason Kidd is finalizing a three-year, $15 million-plus contract extension with the franchise, league sources told The Vertical. Kidd has one year left on his original deal and the extension will take him through 2020. Despite a step back in the 2015-16 season with a 33-49 record, Kidd’s rookie season with Milwaukee – which included a surprising 41-41 record and berth in the Eastern Conference playoffs – earned him the confidence of ownership. Kidd has gone to the playoffs twice in his three years as a head coach, including a season with the Brooklyn Nets in 2013-14. The Nets beat the Toronto Raptors in the opening round of that Eastern Conference playoff series, before losing to Miami. - See more at: http://sports.yahoo.com/news/sources--jason-kidd-finalizing-extension-with-bucks-192151562.html
