    From chicagosports.com:

Bulls' guard Jay Williams broke his leg in a motorcycle accident Thursday evening, the team said.

Details of the accident and Williams' injuries were unclear to team officials Thursday night, said spokesman Tim Hallam.

Williams was taken to the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. Hospital officials could not immediately comment on the player's condition.

Williams' father, David, declined to give details about his son's injuries.

"We're hearing he's going to be in surgery for three or four hours," David Williams said.

Team spokesman Brandon Faber said Jay Williams recently bought the motorcycle. He did not know specifics of the accident.

The Bulls got the first-round draft pick from Duke last year. The 21-year-old averaged 9.5 points per game last season.

    $#^$%^

I wanted the Bulls to keep Jay.. unless some miraculous trade happened, but it doesn't matter anymore because his frickin leg is broken.

wow this really sucks for the bulls and for jay will. his trade value just went down the drain and now the bulls are going to be stuck with both him and crawford next season. stay away from motorcycles, even if you are a great rider, the people driving around you are usually idiots. and your motorcycle is not going to win when you go head to head with a wall, the road, or another car.

ugh man... that wasnt the point... and if you watch NBA you would have noticed that Crawford was givin JWill a run for his money for the starting PG... JWill even wanted to be placed on the IR basicly because he wasnt preforming... Crawford isnt overrated, because the fact is people dont even rate him that good

both needed minutes to thrive. Jay Will is a better point guard than Crawford. but yea, either way, this SUCKS.

    Duke players are jinxed.

Bobby Hurley career ending car accident
    Grant Hill bad ankles
    Jay Williams motorcycle accident
Maggette & Brand stuck in Clipper land
    Battier stuck in Memphis
Laettner off in his own world

The luckiest Duke player has been Danny Ferry, who would've guessed. I think he became the 1st player from Duke to win an NBA title.

I've seen quite the contrary, actually. At all the boards I've been to, except this one, a majority of people have labeled Crawford a future superstar, a great young talent, a great future PG, etc. There is a lot of hype behind this guy from what I've seen.

I dont watch games of bad teams(nuggets bulls knicks) I know he is good but if jay will was on a team like the pacers where the is a proven inside player I think he would be better than crawford.that is all I was saying.
