Salt Lake City -- Utah Jazz Sr. Vice President of Basketball Operations Kevin O?Connor today announced the team has exercised its Fourth Year Option on forward Andrei Kirilenko. Kirilenko is now under contract with the team through the conclusion of the 2004-2005 season. "This was an easy decision for us, O?Connor said. "We are thrilled to have Andrei in a Jazz uniform and to continue our relationship with him is the right thing. Andrei embodies our plans for the future in every way."

Good choice here, Andrei is Utah's franchise player. One of the worst franchise players in the league right now but at the end of the season he'll be a good one. His is the cornerstone of the rebuilding and the youth movement in Utah, so the new look Utah has really begun now. [IMG]
