That can't be a good thing. Left the game with tightness. Hopefully nothing serious because if it's a tear it's see you next year after not even one full game.
...nah, just a precaution...if it was a tear, he'd know it. ...prolly gonna take him awhile to get in game shape.
Say hello to 39 years old Jeter. I am 42 and everyday I feel like I need an MRI on some body part. I don't think we can count on Jeter to be an everyday player after everything he has been through and they same can be said for Arod if he really does play for this team again. They are not kids anymore.
Well there's not much I can add to this because not being able to relate (being so young) I can only imagine. With that said I've got a feeling you're going to be seeing Jeter more at DH then in the field.
this is a damn shame... I just hope this isn't the end for him... It sounded like Jeter thought he was going to be good to go.
=================== ...yup, I remember that when playing ball, the first thing to go was my legs...I could still rake with the bat and my glove and arm were as good as ever...but I just couldn't run the bases anymore...seemed like I was constantly pulling quad and groin muscles. ...nowadays, as you alluded to, if I get outta bed and something doesn't hurt it means I'm probably dead. ...rick can likely also verify this.
