<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>BACK HOMEVirginia offensive tackle D'Brickashaw Ferguson grew up on Long Island. Thursday, he was back home.Ferguson spent the day visiting with Jets officials, who are hoping they will have a chance to land him with the No. 4 pick. But it's not quite certain if they will. The Saints, even though they have moved last year's first-round pick Jammal Brown to left tackle, are said to be interested in drafting Ferguson at the No. 2 spot. But Ferguson is not going to be on the board beyond No. 4.He spent last week in Detroit with the Lions, Wednesday in Philadelphia, Thursday in New York and will be in New Orleans on Tuesday, along with Bush, Williams and Matt Leinart.</div>http://nfl.com/nflnetwork/story/9375472

Adam Schefter is a clown and I refuse to believe anything he says. With that said though, it very well seems like the Jets are going to draft Ferguson unless Matt Leinart or Reggie Bush (Both Unlikely) falls right into our laps, and itd probably be a good move. But if our QB situation is Pennington and Ramsey and Pennington isnt back in 2002 form, this is a 6-10 team at best. I would like us to draft either Jacobs or Whitehurst with our 3rd round compensation pick so that way we can develop one of them and maybe have a darkhorse for our Franchise QB.

You know I've always been a Whitehurst fan. Plus, I hate the idea of drafting a QB in the first round. History shows that it doesn't work very often.

I think with a 3rd round pick he could develop into a potential starter, or at least a quality backup Quarterback. Although I do not feel hes a better prospect then either of the big 3 in the draft this year.Brodie Croyle is another QB I like, but I just dont trust him with his injury history....but any QB coming from Alabama with a #12 on my back is ok with me. I'd love to see the Jets land D'Brick, but I think the Saints are going to take him. Unless the Saints can find a better use for someone else in the drat, he will be there for next season. I think the Jets would be better off drafting D'Brick (if available) then take Mangold in the late 1st rd. Maybe they take a RB early 2nd rd or even if Brian Calhoun falls to 3rd rd, which he may, take him there. I think Calhoun has the potential in what the Jets are looking for in a RB. He has great speed.

He has a lot of question marks, is he still raw, not a great blocker, needs to work on his hands. He is also on the smaller side, so him being a true RB is very tough.

New NY Jets fan here.I'm intrested in D'Brickashaw Ferguson. He's a great blocker. But I like Lienart too. I hope Tangini knows what they are doing.

Ferguson is going to be gone at #3 so while the Jets may want him, they ain't gonna get him.

He won't fall past 2nd overall and I think the Jets should realize otherwise.

I think Brick can easily fall out of #2.If the Mario Williams hype lives up to it's name... Mario Williams could easily be drafted #2. And then the Saints swing Grant or Howard for a different draft pick.

They'll let the draft come to them rather than wasting picks on a player that may be there at 4 anyhow. D'Brick, Leinart, and Mario all could be gone or could be there, and all fit as a pick for the Jets.
