When his turn to bat came in the seventh inning, Cliff Lee hustled to the plate like an eager Little Leaguer, hoping he could stay in the game for the Philadelphia Phillies' rally. Pinch-hitter Ross Gload waved him back to the dugout and Lee reluctantly trudged off the field and became a spectator as the Phillies overtook the Florida Marlins 5-3 on Wednesday night.
