Was a great podcast. Loved the far out shit they were talking about, and Joe Rogan pullin' it back in.
Alex jones is a genius and you guys just dismiss him. You know how much money he makes selling preping shit? The guy is cashing in on a niche market.
I like Alex Jones...but man, some of his theories are out there. Like the idea that the "elite" are trying to dump people down with vaccines, flouride, screen-time etc. Those things may in fact have a negative effect, but to reach and say they were brought about as part of an over-arching strategy....what's the evidence for that?
from this video: Something about how the elites are transcending into a human/AI existence and trying to enslave the rest of the people, w/help from the forces of a lower dimension (evil). The premise is that they get all of the lemmings into a hive mind through technology, (Which actually if you think about it, is already fucking close to that....nobody can think for themselves anymore, they all use MSM/Twitter/Facebook/Google/etc to make decisions for them). Once they are all believing the same thing and controlled you then instill a globalist authoritarian society onto them. It was some crazy shit, but makes a little sense if you take a few sips of whiskey and think about how controlled people are through their phones, internet devices, and MSM.
The reason it's nonsense, is because you don't need all of that shit to exert control. Every heard the expression, "Bread and circuses?" Societal control by the ruling powers ain't a new thing and neither is people tuning out and losing themselves in diversions.
Genesis 3: 1Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 7And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
The thing about Alex jones that people don't understand is yeah he says a lot of crazy shit on infowars and it's pretty far out there but it earns him a lot of money. Infowars got bigger over time and he makes a killing off it and the crazy shit he says on the show. What you see here on JRE is more of the Alex Jones that is a bit more reasonable and early Alex jones. Sure there are a couple of things in here that are out there but overall I think it helped people realize he isn't that much of a nut job. He has been right about a lot of things for years and years people just don't wanna give him credit because the crazier shit he says overshadows the shit that makes sense and can be proved
If you want to know how Alex Jones's career was launched, read Them by Jon Ronson (who is a liberal who regards Jones as a buddy who is a total bullshitter).
