(AP) -- With the NBA draft looming and uncertainty surrounding the franchise's ownership, the Portland Trail Blazers decided not to extend general manager John Nash's contract. President Steve Patterson will serve as interim general manager. Kevin Pritchard, director of player personnel, had his contract extended for next season, Patterson said Wednesday in a brief news conference.</div>www.sports.yahoo.com
the portland franchise sucks so much. atleast at the moment. just trade bassy randolph and miles already and start fresh. whoever the new gm is he'll be better then nash ill tell ya that
Trade Telfair? Are you kidding me? No way, Portland is going to trade away his talent, unless their new GM is a dick. Miles and Randolph will be good trade bait, if they clean up their acts to go to a new team. A good center is what they need, Pryzbilla should be coming off the bench, even though he is a good rebounder and defender. Webster might finally be put in the rotation, and he might earn himself a spot in the lineup. Portland has too many guards though, Dixon, Blake, Telfair, Jack, and whoever else. Dixon will stay, Blake will be trade bait, Telfair stays, and Jack might stay. Miles and Randolph are good as gone, they should get a good center and replacement at PF for Randolph.
This came many years too late. As soon as Telfair was drafted, something was wrong. No jumpshot, no desire, no defense, no height, no strengthAnd Darius Miles?Bahh Hum-bug
