Jonathan Broxton, the embattled All-Star closer for the Los Angeles Dodgers, was sent for an MRI exam on his right elbow after finally admitting to team officials on Wednesday morning that he has been experiencing discomfort. Manager Don Mattingly said no determination will be made on whether to place Broxton on the 15-day disabled list until the results of that exam are known.
