He's not wrong... But he can still go and eff himself. Dame doesn't have to leave just because KG/KD did.
Says he didn't want to overstep his boundaries when he talked with Dame, but had no problem being critical of him staying in Portland on a podcast.
All these "superteam" guys can fuck off....gutting small market franchises to ring chase....KG left the Wolves in the trash for decades after he bailed...The great thing is...Dame knows this shit...see the Nets and Lakers this season who I seriously going into the season thought would be in the finals....man was I wrong about that. Dame Lillard, Jah Morant, Luka, Dame....etc...they don't need to leave their teams to be a second fiddle to Lebron anymore or take a paycut...lesson learned....KG also had issues with his championship teammates even after winning a chip..the guy is full of shit period. Dame plays with superstars on the allstar team and Olympic team....fills that need just fine.
In addition to what the Blazers have already paid him, Dame will get another 120 million from the team before his contract ends. Dame does not feel sorry for himself, why should KG? I am with Reggie Miller on this topic.
He's got it wrong. Kevin Durant should be demanding a trade to Portland. That's what Lillard's response should be.
fuck Clyde too....he's not exactly an ambassador for the Blazers since he went ring chasing...every ring chaser is going to justify why they bail on their team. Tim Duncan would tell him to stay put..so would Reggie Miller...I like franchise loyalty
Clydes not even in the same league as Dame. Habitual non tipper, and his reputation at a certain Lake O restaurant still exist today.
There is so much talent in this league, it's getting ridiculous. We (NBA) have guys at the end of the bench who can play! And with that, it is being proved that having eight or nine, quality players, is working better than two or three studs, and a bunch of filler. See Brooklyn/Lakers, and see Memphis/Dallas. There are your blueprints. Dame knows this.
Again, just because Clyde did it, doesn't mean Dame has to. These guys that bailed on their team don't want to see Dame succeed where they failed. Though, I do somewhat get Drexler's decision. The whole franchise was doing a reset, and he didn't agree with the direction. And they were going to do the reset with or without him. KG and KD, not so much. They screwed their teams.
Just YESTERDAY...Yahoo Sports finally came to the conclusion that maybe Dame isn't interested in New York after all. Geezus, no wonder Damian gets so angry.. https://sports.yahoo.com/report-dam...zrpoBp4MVBMP6EJxqLiC--z-OGcUMeWXBSwW5S45QggTg
