Legal resident of the United States working as a journalist. Most of us care. Are we legally obligated? No. Are we morally obligated? I think so.
I dunno. But I do know that it's vitally important that we do some sort of credible investigation. I'd start with the video and audio that Turkey claims to have. We already have a very highly suspicious story from the Saudis. Did I say suspicious? It's really out of this world.
Unbelievable that Trump would say that Saudi Arabia is innocent because they deny their involvement. I don't know... Killed in Saudi Arabia embassy/consulate, dismembered, Saudi's claimed he left the consulate, Saudi's did a clean up job before investigators could investigate, Saudi goon squad flew in on chartered jets weekend before killing.

It is almost impossible to imagine. the mental gymnastics required to believe what people believe. Trump says he'll give a million dollars to charity if Warren takes a test and it says she's "an Indian" His words. Not if she is 1/32nd or 1/1000th. More PC... a Native American. She isn't Native American. Doesn't owe charity squat. He should donate the million anyway to shut them up but he doesn't have to.
I'm surprised at a lot of things that aren't threads. I wondered why nobody started a Farrakhan thread about his supposed anti termite comment and why he isn't banned from Twitter.
A few years ago, I was keeping up on life inside Yemen by reading Twitters from ordinary young men there. They were liberal, middle class, and cheerful. Sometimes they talked about their dual national Yemen government (the Houthi one and the fake one living in Saudi Arabia, afraid to show its face in Yemen, the one the world recognizes). They passed rumors that Saudi Arabia might attack, because Yemeni storekeepers, decision-makers, etc. were starting to ignore the fake government that wasn't there. One day they were alarmed at a residential hill in the capital exploding, and speculated that it had been bombed. I saw almost-live little Twitter films (the kind that last like 20 seconds) of the hill taken from downtown a mile away. In a few days, I saw news accounts of Saudi Arabia starting a war there. Well, you know who controls Twitter. Next time I checked a month later, I couldn't read those accounts anymore.
