<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) -- The Boston Celtics traded the rights to forward Darius Songaila to Sacramento on Monday for the Kings' second-round draft choices in 2003 and '05. The trade leaves the Kings with no picks in Thursday's draft. Songaila, the 50th overall pick in last year's draft, never played for the Celtics. He averaged 12.8 points and 3.9 rebounds for CSKA Moscow in the Russian A Superleague last season. The 6-foot-9 Lithuanian played four seasons at Wake Forest, and he has played in the Olympics and the European Championships. ``Darius had a terrific season in Europe last year after an outstanding collegiate career at Wake Forest,'' said Geoff Petrie, the Kings' president of basketball operations. ``He's a skilled big man who should be a good complement to our roster.''</div>
He hasnt shown anything that special even in russia. u never know who youre gonna get with two shots at the draft if theres something there.

We wouldn't have done anything with the picks anyway, just one more person to cut in October... Plus we got another big man out of the deal... Go us :|
Geoff Petrie obviously saw something in him. The last 20 times he's seen something in somebody, it's been a success.
