Former WBO cruiserweight champion Krzysztof Glowacki (31-1, 19 KOs) used his power punching to defeat Maksim Vlasov (44-3, 25 KOs) by a hard fought 12 round unanimous decision to win the WBO interim title in the quarterfinal of the World Boxing Super Series tournament a the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, Illinois. The scores were 118-110, 117-110, and 115-112. Boxing News 24 had the 32-year-old Glowacki winning the fight by a 117-110 score.
