Instead of individual game threads, I figure I'd post a series thread for each team we face and I'll update the original post after each game. We've got Utah in the first series. Lakers in 5 Lakers - Lakers - Jazz - Lakers - Lakers If the Lakers take game 3 though, they'll sweep em. Let's go! =============================================== Series Update Game 1: 113-100, Lakers Game 2: 119-109, Lakers Game 3: 88-86, Utah Game 4: 108-94, Lakers Game 5: 107-96, Lakers Lakers win the series 4-1.
Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread what a fitting butt whupping then wow... I wonder what Jerry Sloan is gonna tell the guys.
Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread GAME OF THE DAY! Go Jazz! Hopefully Memo will be back by Sunday, Utah played pretty decent today for having only scrub 7-footers.
Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread I think the Lakers will take them in five. The Jazz aren't as good of a home team they were last year and they have been a horrible road team the past month or so.
Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread I say we take it in five, but I'm with Mamba here, if we take the first three, it'll be a sweep. I don't see how the Jazz can handle us. They have no answer for our size down low. They can be as physical as they want, but they can't get taller, and that will be, in the end, the biggest reason why they lose this series. On a sidenote - I wonder how ridiculously long these playoff threads will get this year. Last year, they just got longer and longer, and the Finals thread is actually one of the longest threads in the history of this board I think.
Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread I was just wondering but in the last 2 years, have Utah & LAL both played where both teams were healthy after the Gasol trade? Not that it makes a difference but I was trying to figure out who guards Boozer and who guards Memo.
Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread I don't believe they had played eachother with healthy rosters until recently when Bynum returned.
Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread I like how the only person that things the Jazz will upset us in J_Ray...and he's a Jazz fan. I guess there's nothing wrong with confidence in your team...
