    The 70,000-seat arena isn't going to sell out without a big main event so the UFC has pushed up the Rousey/Holm fight. Robbie Lawler has an injured thumb and will not be able to face Carlos Condit.

    while Rousey is a bigger draw, the fight will be way less interesting IMO. ppl will want to go for the spectacle so they may still sell this event out.
    Imagine if the UFC sets an attendance record with a female title bout as the main event.

    Seems as if they will.

    Although it will be a UFC record. I believe there have been outdoor events in Russia/former USSR states that have drawn larger than the Etihad can hold.

    gotta wonder how much a ticket would cost to goto an MMA event in Russia.... not much is likely the answer for them to have so many ppl able to afford it.

    Ha probably not much considering the one I saw was on a hillside. Looks like there was only like 24,000 people at that one so I may be mistaken with the outdoor events record.
