Its hard to watch Lillard play this season. He does not seem motivated. He is not playing with passion, interest, or energy. He is playing like a celebrity that is happy to cash a giant check and pal around with Von Miller after his team gets humiliated.

He doesn’t seem upset when he loses, at all. I’ve seen Kobe Bryant more upset in training camp scrimmages than I’ve seen Lillard all season after his team has been getting beat down repeatedly.

watch how he opened the game against Denver. He’s literally walking the ball up the court and going through plays like it’s a scrimmage. His defense has been half-assed all year too.

he always scores a decent amount, and this keeps him out of the line of fire, but I think he is the biggest reason our team has struggled this season. Everyone on the team has made mistakes, but nobody is lacking energy like Lillard. He needs to get called out so he starts playing with a chip on his shoulder.

Well advanced stats say he and whiteside are the only good + players on the team so I guess the good news is he can be “bum” and better than the rest of the team and statistically a top 10ish player, could be worse...

It’s not being a bandwagon fan... are you watching the games?
Sure he can hit 8 threes against New York but he was awful against Denver and he’s not been nearly as aggressive lately.

This must be some alternate reality. This coming from a CJ apologist? Give me a break.

so you’re saying CJ is better than Dame?

I’m not saying Dame is trash. He’s elite talent wise. I’m saying his energy is bad.

Yeah, GMs tend to take the leadership roles on lottery teams.

But championship teams are led by players like Kobe, Lebron, Jordan. Etc

I’m seriously starting to wonder if Lillard is a championship level player given his complete lack of giving a shit as of late. I had believed before that he was.

Lol you’re not gonna find a bigger Lillard fan than me. I’m a borderline fanboy. But his effort has been shit as of late, it’s undeniable. I respect Lillard enough to tell him when he’s playing like shit.

he’s been known to “turn it on” around all star break. We’ll see. Regardless, he deserves criticism for his lethargy.

Why do people think they can tell if players "give a shit" or not? Everybody thinks they're a PhD in body language.

Here's a fun one where CJ is rated 345th in the NBA...
    https://nbamath.com/2019-20-nba-tpa/

    Dame's ranked 10th.
