I'm not sure if this has been mentioned in the other threads. http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/story/_/id/11166930/brooklyn-nets-agree-deal-lionel-hollins
Kidd did the Nets a favor. They pulled off a coup by receiving two second rounders and signed a highly respected coach in Hollins.
I'm sure he'll look great after following Jason Kidd. Hell, he'll look like Phil Jackson by comparison.
Always thought Hollins would end up in PDX, some day. I guess it never will happen while PA is the owner. He seems to reject ever one that was a Blazer.
And so is Kidd. I've never heard of a coach bolting from a team after just one year of a multi-year deal. Kidd has a few screws loose.
Hell, it's a win-win-win because, not only did they get rid of Kidd, but they also hired a good coach AND they got second rounders. This is a boon for them.
