    Well, since we also upgraded our defensive coaching position by replacing Canales with empty air, we should be fine.

    Since the defense is changing I thought the article mostly irrelevant. However, the good news is that if we change our defense in a certain way, RoLo will be an excellent defender.

    I would prefer a defense where our center stays around the basket. I never want to see him outside trying to defend a guard. How often does it work, and if it does work we don't have our big in position to grab the missed shot.

    We saw evidence of the changes to the defensive principles in Vegas. They were "downing" or "icing" most pnr's (forcing the ballhandler away from the pick and towards the sideline). Only difference was their call was "blue".

    I think the acquisition of Lopez is one of the main reasons the PNR D is changing.
