Well, I think we (myself included) can give the "We're getting a good pick this year" angle a rest. At worst, we're 2 games under .500 after tomorrow going into the break. I do think, with a weaker bottom half of the west, that we get a playoff spot. So, lets forge forward and get a playoff spot!
Yup. Unless there's an injury that keeps out Dame and/or CJ, I think there's a very good chance that our team plays either well enough to lose the pick entirely, OR well enough that the pick won't be much better than high lottery, so at this point I'd rather just make the playoffs. Shoot for 7th or 6th.
Can you imagine facing Memphis in the first round? Or the Thunder? We always seem to play OKC pretty well.
Welcome brother Strenuus, we are glad to have you! Now let's chant. Playoffffs-Humdiata-Playofffs-Ahhhhhhmen
Haha! There just comes a point where you have to be a realist. I stay in my stances until I realize that, realistically, they need to be altered given what's in front of me. There's no shame in that. It's the ones that refuse to budge despite what's in front of them telling them the contrary that can be a head-scratcher.
I want to have a miracle first round against the warriors that flips the league upsidedown and catapults dame to super star
A Warriors upset would be amazing for the league, but the Blazers upsetting the Aldridge led Spurs would be even sweeter in my book.
This is what I'm talking about. When people look at the Warriors historic regular season I want them to see a first round exit to the Blazers. David V Goliath - Letsssssss gooooooooooooooooo!
It won't be complete without a Dame over LaMarCooch Poster! Of course, LaMarCooch would have to actually try to defend the lane and get in front of him first.
Not at all. Under the present lottery system, the worst team is not guaranteed of getting the first pick.
I'm still not sure what I think about in terms of making the playoffs. However, I do know that I am very interested in... 1) .500 or better record 2) positive +/-. 3) individual improvement of the players 4) team improvement
vGSW vUTA @CHI @IND @NYK @BOS @TOR @DET @GSW @OKC @SAS @NOH @DAL vDAL @LAC All 15 of these games occur in our next 22, and we could very easily lose any and every one of them. Let's not buy our playoff tickets yet.
