Louisville will honor injured teammate Anthony Conner by wearing "AC" stickers on the back of their helmets against Syracuse on Saturday.

Conner broke his neck making a tackle last week against Rutgers. He underwent surgery Monday to help stabilize his cervical fracture.

Conner was moved out of intensive care Tuesday and was able to take his first steps Wednesday after the serious injury. Coach Charlie Strong said Monday that Conner "continues to maintain good feeling and movement in all his extremities."

Playing in all seven games, the senior cornerback recorded 21 tackles and had an interception against Murray State in the season opener.
