Nothing dick-ish about that question. I don't know that heart conditions CAN'T appear seemingly out of nowhere.
He should have retired. These once great players just can't accept it's over and move on to something else.
Good news is they caught the condition and can treat it. Best of luck to Hank with his recovery, he had a great Ranger career and came close to a Cup but should have hung them up a few years ago.
Could have had a cup if the dumb fuck officials didn't cost us 2 fn games. Team only scored 4 or more goals once in that trip to the finals. I wonder if a goalie ever made and played in the finals with his team scoring 4 or more goals one time. Even in the clutch and grab era. It's incredible that he took his team there never having to be anything but close to perfect.
What he should or should'nt have done is irrelevant. This about Lundqvist having to have a serious open heart procedure. We should all just hope he comes through this ok.
Agreed. He is having open heart surgery though? Where did you see that? Nevermind, just checked for articles and saw a bunch from today.
If he comes through this which I have faith he will, he needs to isolate himself for a long time. Covid is lethal to people with heart issues. One of the biggest threats of this virus is to people like that.
Looks who is back on his skates... https://www.nhl.com/news/henrik-lun...e-since-having-open-heart-surgery/c-321723856
