Since the draft is tomorrow, we should segway into the season with some madden 12 talk. My wishlist is simple: - Ratings should include things like intangibles, attitude etc. And just my opinion, but a kicker's rating should cap off at 80. I hate it when kickers are the 'best players'. - Revamped franchise. It's like they stopped caring about the franchise mode. No radio show, no team chemistry, etc. It seems like this mode peaked with Madden '05. - QB AI is a little realistic. Guys like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees shouldn't have the same instincts as Drew Stanton. - The superstar mode needs to be revamped. It all gets tiring after a week of gameplay. - NFL prospects can be edited. Aside from importing a draft class from the NCAA game, you can't edit the prospects. It leads to a 54 rating Andrew luck, 94 rating Jake Locker, 88 rating Ryan Mallett. - Spotlighting a defender. Especially when you know he's going to blitz you. - Tackling animations are unrealistic. - Not much of a difference between quickness and speed in the game. - A lot of 'Head Coach' needs to be integrated into Madden. Great game. oh yeah, and Peyton Hillis is on the cover.
Just got the game a few hours ago. Been playing it since. Definitely different from the past few years. That's a plus.
