    <font size="2">Scholes, 32, injured his knee in a friendly against Chinese side Shenzhen. </font></p>

    <font size="2">"We've sent him home for scope to see what kind of damage there is," said United manager Alex Ferguson. </font></p>

    <font size="2">"We've had scans done and there's a bit of discolourment about the cartilage. We don't think it's serious - he'll be out for three weeks to a month."</font></p>
