    The Blazers have zero interest. Regardless of abilities they can't touch him for PR reasons because of his criminal charges.

    Once any pro player has a civil or criminal investiagation then all shit breaks loose. Mgmt thinks no defective player/no PR nightmare. There is always another without the baggage.

    Very nice player. He actually is very productive and would love to have him but he would be terrible for this market. He's too much of an off the court issue for Portland fans and the jail Blazers stigma


    Not to say the jail Blazers weren't successful, shit their the last team we've had that actually were quite good and almost got us a ring

    i still think every team needs 1 ass hole. lakers were full of ass holes but ron artest really fit the mold im talking about. celtics had rondo and garnett. detroit had sheed and ben wallace. the bulls had rodman. GSW had bogut. spurs have pop

    Handled? Vonleh is a prospect,Davis is a sub AT BEST and Mayers is an ok sub right now. Why not get a starter?

    I don't like him personally and if Hornacek can't get along with him then that is another red flag.

    But I was not aware he had off the court issues. What are they?

    The Morris twins may or may not have been involved in a fight with a guy they may or may not have known who may or may not have sent their mother a naughty text message.

    I'm not sure it even resulted in criminal charges. I'd be more concerned with his problems with his coach.

    Rebuilding doesn't always mean you have to miss the playoffs, you can rebuild while having a good record.
    We need to acquire legit starters somehow and i don't believe Vonleh or Davis will ever be legit starters.

    Even accusations like this would not fly in this market. It doesn't matter even if its Michael Jordan, this city would rather root for a perennial loser than a team with head cases but we're championship contender..
