Barack Obama supporters should know better than to question her experience when Obama isn't very experienced himself. It's one thing to point out how McCain's number one issue was experience, then picked a relatively unexperienced running mate, but Damon just sounds dumb to me until the very end when he questions some of her beliefs.

Actually, now that you mention it, I didn't realize he said '4000 years ago'. I looked it up and apparently there was a rumor going around that she did say that, but it wasn't true.

"It's OK to let kids know that there are theories out there. They gain information just by being in a discussion." Creationism is the belief that the Earth and its creatures were created by a deity. It's an alternative to the origin of life explanation taught in public schools under the theory of evolution, which puts forth that all living organisms descended from a common ancestral gene pool. Palin said during her 2006 gubernatorial campaign that if she were elected, she would not push the state Board of Education to add creation-based alternatives to the state's required curriculum, or look for creationism advocates when she appointed board members. Leads me to believe she didn't come up with them herself. Silly. That's like saying "Is it a sin to play Halo? Is it sin to bring a fake gun to school? Is it a sin to murder someone?" Lohan is comparing completely unrelated things.

I agree with some of that, but if Lohan is gay and wants to be with women, then birth control and child birth should not be a major issue to her.
Lindsay Lohan is Roman Catholic and so am I. I was going off on the assumption she was talking about the Catholic Church's position on those issues.
Unless she is raped . . . in which case Palin belief is that she should not be allowed to choose to have an abortion in that. If I understand Palin's position, even if a girl is raped by their father and got pregnant, abortion should not be allowed. Palin may be taht hockey mom who supposedly represents small town values . . . but those values are extrememly to the right.
What if she holds those values, but does zero in her public duties to push those values on anyone else?
Not likely, but say McCain dies in office, she takes over and has to appoint a Supreme Court Justice. How realistic would it be for her to appoint one that is against reversing Roe v. Wade?
