The current live gate record is about $20-million. That is about $1,300 a ticket for 15,000 tickets.

Early talk is tickets to Money/Pac are going to go for much more, upwards of three times that ($4,000), pushing the gate gross to a crazy $60-million or more.

They also expect to sell more than the 2.4-million PPV's that Money/ODLH sold in 2007. If they just barely eclipse that mark (2.5-million at $100 each) they will generate $250-million in gross PPV sales.

The television broadcaster in the Philippines has already committed $10-million for the rights to the fight and another $20-million is expected to come in for overseas markets.

Advertising at the fight is expected to bring in another $10-million in gross revenue.

If you're keeping track that's $350-million gross ($175-million net, maybe). 60/40 on that is $105-million for Mayweather's camp and $70-million for Pacquiao's. No wonder Pac turned down Money's $40-million offer a while back.

Naturally this doesn't include the rematch(es) they will have.

I'm wondering how many people are seriously excited for this fight? IMO it's happening 5 years too late. Paq is aging and is going to be to slow for Mayweather IMO. This only goes to a DEC if Mayweather is overly cautious.. which he usually is. This fight may end up being a yawn fest.
