I voted no, but I see the validity in the argument. Saric arguably has a more varied skill-set, and is MUCH cheaper for the next three years. However, like I said above, I think CJ's value is greater than Saric's, so there would have to be more coming back for me to consider something like this.

No matter what the offers we get for CJ I want to keep the Dame/CJ pairing. It's important for this team to have continuity and grow or fail together. Any flaws they have I think we have to build around or cover up. We are still so young.

My guess is, the OP is Saric’s Euro agent, or a sports Euro agent trying to gauge player’s values.

It is not possible for a Euro BB fan to start so many ridicules threads. Most Euro fans have impressed me with how knowledgeable they are about the NBA. The only ones capable of such nonsense is someone with an agenda, such as an agent.

The OP sounds a lot like Rudy F’s agent did. Rudy’s agent was a never ending string of irrational thoughts, which caused Rudy to lose the keys to the city.

Now if the Knicks were their typical idiot selves and offered up Porzingis for CJ, well, that's a deal I do in a heartbeat.

It'd actually be kind of fun seeing CJ and Melo play together. Good times.

Where did I say that? The point is it's possible to get an all star without giving one up.

Getting Boogie for Buddy Heald is like getting an all star for Allen Crabbe.

That's true, but it wouldn't have fit into the context. Great writers have court vision in a thread and know that the preceding post is on the reader's mind.

Saric reminds me of Khryapa. He means well, but is rough around the edges. He turns around about as fast as a Bull and snorts.

I'll bet you Chicago would for Butler...I'll bet Boston would for Horford...I'll bet Toronto would for Ibaka...etc....I'll bet Atlanta would for Millsap, etc...CJ is coveted by teams who need to get younger and add scoring

Philly stats translate to other teams like pesos to dollars. Saric would be a Vonleh on our team. Meyers Leonard would beat him up every day. Leonard would get an extra 5 years to develop.

And other than Butler...who would cost more than CJ, IMO. would you trade him for any of those guys.

Yes, we can trade him for an allstar. Just an old one.
