McRobert's Boot Removed

    <span style="font-style: italic">Oct 19</span> - Josh McRoberts finally had the orthopedic boot removed from his injured left ankle Wednesday and, in an encouraging sign, walked around the Trail Blazers' practice facility Thursday in sneakers.</p>

    </p>

    This week he started riding an exercise bike and Thursday he walked on a treadmill for the first time since suffering the gruesome ankle injury that discolored his skin from the toes on his left foot to the top of his shin -- and still remains visible in his purple toes.</p>

    "I'm doing lots of therapy and getting lots of treatment," McRoberts said. "It hurts, but it's getting better. Hopefully in a few weeks I'll be out here again at practice." -- <font color="#000000">The Oregonian</font></p></div></div>
