Who would you take off the all nba team to put lillard on? And would you put lillard above cp3, irving and klay thompson? Just curious.
All three easily. Yes nurk was a tremendous help but dame started and finished the year strong, got into playoffs. Sure it's debatable but I think where he ended up in votes is the most disrespectful part. Behind jokic?! Come on. For me though I'm taking dame over those three, only debatable one being cp3 in my opinion
And I know jokic isn't a guard obviously but the caliber of player we are talking here. Derozan absolutely should be out
When you are a guard with this level of competition, you can't start out so woefully. and then barely make the #8 seed while not playing much defense. There are just too many other good guards out there that may play both sides of the ball better or who contribute to a better record. Paul George not making it either means the Pacers can't offer him the super max. He gone'.

Has almost half the turnovers per game as Wall. Wall gets more assists and steals.... that's it. How the hell did this happen?
Team success definitely played a role. Dame and DeRozan had very similar overall stats, but TOR won 51 games. Dame had better offensive stats than John Wall, but Wall plays much better defense and led his team to 49 wins and a top 4 seed. The 12 total points was a bit insulting, but there were bigger snubs. All of KAT, Boogie and Whiteside had better seasons than DeAndre Jordan. It seems like people just vote for him out of force of habit, he's in a bigger market and has a high visibility national endorsement deal. BNM
I also understand this argument though. Seems the Paul George info is what most are talking about. Already saw people saying the lakers should trade their pick for George
Yes, if it didn't cost us anything (e.g., not Dame, CJ, Vonleh, or Nurkic). We'd be contenders with a healthy Nurk and PG playing with CJ and Dame.
