He's a free agent. Maybe been rumored to go to Houston but I didn't hear that he signed. I would like him for the mid level exception

    Reports: Carter-Williams, Rockets reach deal
Former Kia Rookie of the Year winner Michael Carter-Williams is heading to the Western Conference, it seems.

Per multiple reports, Carter-Williams -- who spent last season with the Charlotte Hornets -- has reached a one-year, minimum deal with the Houston Rockets.

I don’t think they can officially sign until tomorrow. MCW is an interesting player, I could see him playing a Shaun Livingston type of role somewhere.

OK here are some of the remaining options:
    Shabazz Muhammed
    Jarret Jack
    Lucas Nogueira
    Isaiah Thomas

They're literally all players that hurt their team when their on the court. I'd rather not spend it.

I don’t think Shabazz Muhammad is that bad his shooting %’s are actually ok, he just doesn’t shoot a lot. I think in Stotts system he could be an ok back up shooter to stretch the floor.

Bro, I'm going to try extremely hard to not attack the poster, but do you ever fucking think before you type out the stupidest posts I've read since coming to this site (and that's saying a lot)?

I don’t agree at all with him on the Dame stuff, I don’t get how listing some random below average nba talent is “that” bad though? I mean we’re talking a 10-15th guy on the roster for 3m or less. Ive posted dumber stuff, like on Sunday when I made a thread about Dame maybe asking out at some point that was dumb and emotional and frustrated. I can admit it...

Don’t worry Neil will save the season by using the TPE. Lol

Unless we are getting Kawhi and Love without trading Dame this season is already in the books, and it ends with another GS championship. Might as well just pray that we struck gold with our draft picks(i highly doubt) and spend the year focusing on Zach’s growth.

I didn't necessarily mean to reply to that particular post. It's just between saying he'd trade Lonzo for Dame while admitting he hasn't watched Lonzo since college and then making a ridiculous thread about MCW while using his career stats when everyone knows his career stats don't mean shit if you take out his post 76ers numbers. Then when called out because he's already off the market he lists a bunch of other crap players that don't really help. It was just the final straw this evening.

Ah I see. Was just confused by the post you replied too.
MCW is a really weird player to me, it seems like he should be better than he is, but he basically sucks.

Shabazz could give us inside scoring, Jarret Jack gives you a few extra wins every season, Nogueira totally killed us in that one game last year and Isaiah Thomas you're right is not available.
Do we have only 3 mil? if that's the case my top 3 names are our best options

Yes, of course you would. You have an irrational fascination for former lottery picks that SUCK.

Michael Carter Williams is statistically the worst shooter in the entire NBA. He is the ONLY player, who qualified, to finish in the bottom 5 in TS% for both of the past two seasons.

We already have plenty of guards, all who shoot WAY better than Michael Carter Williams.

BTW, his averages for the past two seasons:

    2016-17: 6.6 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 2.5 apg, .366 FG%, .234 3FG%
    2017-18: 4.6 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 2.2 apg, .332 FG%, .237 3FG%

Yeah, that's EXACTLY what we need - if our goal is to tank and convince Dame to demand a trade.
