Excellent! Now that all that Bennett silliness is over too, we're only going to have to lose ONE guy now That guy is most likely now going to be Frazier; I like him but Pressey's the better player & will nudge Frazier (he had his chances to prove himself @ this level & he didn't get it done, I'd be surprised if Frazier stayed but not crazy shocked) out.
If we don't have a trade then it's probably between Frazier and Pressey. But I'm kind of surprised we're hanging on to Kaman given that it's $5 mil for hanging on to him and NOTHING to let him go. (Unless that deadline passed?) (Yes, I know, mentoring and all that, but assistant coaches do that for a fuck of a lot less $.)
Really not sure what your basis is for either of these statements. Alexander is a much higher ceiling player than either Pressey or Frazier, so it's certainly more likely that he remains than keeping both PG's. And as has been pointed out elsewhere, Pressey beat Frazier out for a roster spot last offseason in Boston; in what way is Frazier better now when he obviously wasn't then?
Dame, Hendo, Chief, Davis, Legend CJ, Dat Pat, Mo, Vonleh, Plums Frazier, Crabbe, Montero, Alexander, Sasquatch Pressey out, Alexander in.
Original, I know, but I don't see the team carrying 4 PG's plus CJ. Dame, Pressey, Frazier, Montero? I don't know why you'd give up the potential lotto ticket of Montero or Alexander for a 4th-string PG (which the Pressey/Frazier loser would be)
Taped into random refrigerator in West Linn: Son. Take out the garbage BEFORE you go to Blazer practice. P.S. And don't try to use my electric shaver!
I put a poll together to get everyone's opinion on who won't make the opening day roster. http://www.sportstwo.com/threads/blazers-salary-cap-info.286219/ My guess is that it comes down to Frazer or Pressey, and Frazer will stay.
