    this is just silly, just as to me the excuse of "he is a not a first ballot hall of famer" either the player is worthy of the tile of being one of the best ever to play the game or isnt. His eligibility shouldnt improve from one year to another.

    Baseball needs to come to grips with the steroid era and decide what they're going to do when it comes to the HOF. Stuff like this is because of that.
