I've been re-reading "Moneyball" this past week. A good portion of the book is about the 2002 draft, the Oakland A's draft in particular. The main player they talked about taking way before anybody else would take him, Jeremy Brown, only played in the big leagues at the end of the 2006 season and is now retired. I thought Nick Swisher was good for them, but they traded him. Anybody else doing well for them? How about the other teams? Which team(s) had a good draft in 2002?

A couple of teams picked future ace starters(Hamels and Kazmir)....Atlanta picked a serviceable outfielder(Franceor) and an All Star catcher(McCann)....if you just judge the draft by major league talent aquired, the As had the best draft, but they also picked a ton in the early rounds....
