I am always a bit upset when I see a banned book I haven't read yet. What am I doing wrong? Put it on my list.

The Nashville library has entire sections dedicated to African American history, the equal rights movement and women suffrage - it's like a haven of culture in a city that seems to be hell bent n becoming the Las Vegas of country music

I love Vegas so that would be fine with me.

It's Vegas, but think of the old town instead of the strip - and realize that the old town of Las Vegas feels like the strip compared to downtown Nashville.

As an aside, we've never been here, but plan to go soon.

Texas is discussing banning a book for young readers about a young Jewish girl in hiding during Nazi occupation of France. Texas said the book could "warp young minds". You know, make young people like Jews and refugees more than nazis.
