In 6 minute qtrs, Plumlee just had 22 points. Look for him going to the basket.

I have increased his off dribble and contested 3 point to 78 and 79, and improved ball control to 80. I have also increased Harkless open 3-point to 77 and mid range to 73.

I used to be able to get NBA 2k for about half price on PC, but that option doesn't appear to be available this year. I simply don't play enough to justify spending $60+ on a game.

    Have fun fellas.

Just played a game online. Noticed Evan Turner starts at SF instead of Harkless now. The game did have Harkless starting before.

I'm sure when Stotts sets his lineups the first person he calls is Ronnie to make sure that he sets them as well... That is what you are implying, is it not?

This game is so frustrating at All Star with Portland's current defensive stats, played Utah last night and they were hitting it from everywhere. I have to increase defensive stats of almost entire team, it's not reasonable that Turner's defensive consistenty and IQ are sub-70, ditto Crabbe. Ezeli's shot contest is pathetic too and his strength at 80 is significantly underrated as well. Plumlee's passing accuracy at 41 is ridiculous as well, he's a much better passer than that. Also reckon his offensive rebound should be better than 72.

Gonna pull Harkless up to 77 (mid-range and 3-point shooting, defensive consistency and IQ), Ezeli up to 79 (standing dunk, strength, defensive stats), Plumlee up to 80 (passing accuracy, mid-range shot, offensive rebound), Leonard up to 75-76 (ball control, hands, standing dunk, defensive stats), Crabbe to 79 (off dribble shooting, ball control) and Turner to 81 (3-point shooting, defensive stats). Can post my improvements later today.

Improved shot contest from 52 to 70
Improved steal from 61 to 70
Improved speed from 74 to 76

Improved strength from 80 to 90
Improved defensive consistency from 55 to 77
    Improved P&R defense from 56 to 65

    Harkless:
Improved shot close from 64 to 71
Improved contested mid range from 38 to 62
Improved open mid range from 62 to 75
    Improved contested 3 from 64 to 72
    Improved open 3 from 70 to 80
Improved free throw from 60 to 70
Improved ball control from 63 to 70

Improved help defense from 68 to 72
Improved offensive consistency from 45 to 65
    Improved potential to 80

Hope I did not go overboard with these improvements, feel like they are realistic improvements considering what was supposed to be improved by players or was already better last season. Might have gone a bit overboard with Crabbe and Harkless but I love them.

Well it has been reported that some coaches do use NBA2k, NFL2k, NHL2k to help with coaching.

So both CJ and Lillard got hurt during the WCF against Grizzlies. So now I'm in the Finals against Cleveland without either of them and we just won Game 1 by 29 points. Our defense is so good. Crabbe had 22 points, Leonard had 20 points, and Turner had 12/4/5/3. We had 14 steals. This is fun! I gotta get some sleep!

I decided to scrap the whole 82-game, improved players thing, I'm not going to last 82 games. 29 is the perfect length of season to play before the season starts, and I will be able to play multiple different seasons with different setups. Playoffs works best for me when it's the best of 5, 7 is overkill and 3 is silly.

Decided to start 4 different saves, play with financial rules and don't do trade override even if it appears realistic.

On Trail Blazers save I've traded Plumlee and 2 future 1st round picks for Jahlil Okafor. Wanted Brook Lopez but it would have required me to part with too many assets to match salaries and I did not want to let Turner or Crabbe go. Okafor gives me a scoring center, which is good because I now have two setups - Davis + Okafor where Davis compensates for Okafor's average defense and rebounding, and Aminu + Ezeli. Okafor is lovely to play with and the team has perfect balance now I feel.

On Bucks save I've traded Monroe plus two picks also for Okafor. Amazingly athletic team, will be fun to play and I love their arena design. My family name in Polish is pretty much Buck too (hence the profile picture) which basically obliges me to like them.

On 76ers save I've gone absolutely mental. With so many picks and no desire to develop them for 5 seasons before they get good, I've gone on trading overload. Bayless + 1 pick for Collison (very fun PG to play with), Henderson + Grant + pick for Oladipo (defeeeeeense) and then tried a crazy trade for Paul George - gave them Noel, 76ers 2017 pick, 76ers 2018 pick and Lakers pick. They accepted so now I'm left with Collison, Oladipo, George, Simmons and Okafor/Embiid starting line up. Gonna be properly fun, and I used to like them a lot during Iverson days (well, I was 11 back then).

Another save I have is Chicago Bulls. I am sentimental about them as I used to spend a lot of time in my youth there, my brother lived there for almost 6 years and I would visit him every Summer for 2-3 months. There I did not do much trading a lot as I like their team. Rondo and Wade are very fun to play with, Butler is Butler, Robin Lopez rebounds everything in offense and I like their PF rotation in Gibson and Mirotic.

All are 29-game, wanted to start them all at once but then realized that some players I might want to have in multiple teams (see Okafor at all of Sixers, Bucks and Blazers). I like having multiple saves as it gets boring constantly playing in one way with one team. I'll still probably finish 4 seasons with Blazers on 3 separate saves before any other save gets me to playoffs.

Damn Plumlee has a good mid range shot now! I'm more and more impressed every time I play.
