OT Merged: NBA2k17... Anyone having luck with the Blazers in this game?

Meh, I'll be cheap and use the updated fanmade rosters from 2k17 for a while, lol.

 

Play 2K17 and use updated roster instead, 17 will cost you $20 these days so it's even $10 cheaper than Live. You may as well burn the money if you are going to buy Live.

 

Well, I will look at reviews if there are there but I don't trust main sites much anymore and would rather play it myself. Even if I don't like it, I can trade it for $5 for 30 days after purchase so I'll trade it for FIFA 18 (which is going to be fine on Switch and I'd buy it anyway).

With Switch games in Poland I know that if I don't pre-order and get them at launch I may have to wait a long time for second supply of copies.

Right. That's all I buy mostly. But you can't do that with 2K18 when you want it the day of or preorder it.

I started to get annoyed with 17 so I traded it in a couple months ago for 30$
It's doubtful I'll buy 18.

 

18 is gonna be a completely different game.

 

Let's be real man, 2k is like Madden at this point, they change a couple things here and there to get you to spend the 60 bucks, but it's very rarely a completely different game.

I'm just not into the ultimate teams or whatever they're called.
Nor am I into really blacktop/park play or w/e it is.
If I'm going to play pickup basketball, it's going to be irl. Not in a video game.
My fav thing about Madden or 2k is the mygm/myleague/franchise modes.

 

Well I'm in Kraków. The store I buy at has policy whereas if you buy a game for them, for a month you can trade it for a similarly priced game for 20 PLN which equates to about 5 dollars. It's the same with used older games too.

 

Live is something I will probably pick up when they inevitably put it in EA Access 4-5 months from release.

Aldrige is the starting PF for the 2k18 all time Blazers team. This alone should be a reason to not buy the game.


Also, no Maurice Lucas, Roy, Wallace, Pippen

 

...I wonder why those players didn't agree to the 2K offer terms for allowing their likeness?! Are they greedy?! Is it personal?! Do they deny everything no matter what?!
