But he has been brilliant at keeping people wanting to know more about the team and in the news (i.e the talking about a new player etc) He plays the man of the people part PERFECT imo.. he doesnt always get it right (the Crest fiasco) but his heart is in the right place, and I am glad to have him at the head of our organization. Def great owner for the new MLS 2.0
I'd hope its not non-player news. I don't see any need for front office changes, unless I'm missing something. There have been some struggles for sure, but no need to do anything.
They'll probably be announcing a youth team partnership (maybe AJAX) or a friendly or something. Did you think he was alluding to future firings?
I don't know what I was thinking. A youth partnership with Ajax would be great, but I'd rather see Ajax link with Houston, Dallas, the Galaxy, or whenever the second New York franchise pops up. There's a larger market of players there for them to develop for the US.
Yeah it's unlikely, but who knows. I could see them having more than one academy partnership. Addidas is in Portland so maybe that'll help
