Newman says he's back for Washington Pro Bowl cornerback Terence Newman, who had sports hernia surgery Oct. 10, is moving well and believes he will definitely be back for the Washington game on Nov. 16. "It's going to happen," Newman said. Newman said he still hasn't starting running yet. In the locker room Wednesday, he was showing off how far he has come by stretching backward and pulling his leg up. He has missed five games this season. - Rick Herrin Posted at 01:14 PM | Permalink | Comments (0) | TrackBack (0)
Glad to hear that. Him and the emerging rookie CBs Scandrick and Jenkins will be a nice trio. More importantly, it means our best CB will be back for the final run.
I can't wait to see Newman back in the mix with Jenkins, Scandrick.... and if Jones returns.... we should be set at CB. Henry needs less playing time.
It's so weird. Last season before he got injured Henry lead the league in interceptions and was one of the best CB's we had.
