Theres no press on Raef LaFrentz so far in the last few weeks. Has he gained muscle mass? Has he lost weight?
OregonLive is covering everybody else on the team. Any scoop out there?

I hear he's put on fifty pounds of muscle doing nothing but bucking hay on his farm in Iowa, he's on track to come back at 360 lbs. next season, he's going to blow up!!

I'm hoping KP is on the phone with the Bobcats since they are looling to trade Gerald Wallace and shed salary. Raef & TO for Wallace and Morrison (a bad contract they would love to dump) would solve a lot of problems for us.

That is a really good deal if Wallace is seen as the missing piece at SF. Morrison has a rookie contract and if he somehow turned into an explosive offensive player, the Blazers would have a chance to match any offers at the end of the deal, or if he sucks, his 4th year option isn't exercised and he's gone.

You'd think that the 'Cats would want actual value for Gerald Wallace.

    What are you, Laker fans?

Cap relief isn't "actual value" for a very bad team?

Young talent is of higher value to a very bad team. It'd probably require Bayless+Raef+Outlaw for a player of Gerald Wallace's caliber.

Not for a Charlotte franchise that can barely draw flies and is an absolute mess.

Pau Gasol was traded for less than cap space/Outlaw, and Memphis actually had some money.

Pau Gasol yielded 2 1st round draft picks, Marc Gasol, and a semi-promising young player in Javaris Crittenton. Pau demanded a trade.

Throw in a 1st and a few of the 2nd round picks as well if it lines up in the CBA.

Charlotte is about to lose their team. Why not lowball them, although as bad as that team is, I don't see how adding cap space, a pick or two, and Outlaw is a lowball offer.

Wallace is only making ~10million, averaged, the next few seasons. His contrast is cheap as hell. They're better off moving Emeka or J-Rich

Ummm, you asked about the status of Raef LaFrentz...

...a guy who will never play another game for this team. A guy whose only value around the league is in his contract. What does it matter how he is recovering and why do you care?

I mean if you care about the guy's feelings I'd understand. But any other reason?

Wait, are you saying it is a bad thing to be obsessively interested in anything that is even tangentially related to the Blazers?
