I hate to see the bills relocate. It just wouldn't be the same to hear Berman do the highlights, would it?

I say this all the time, but Jacksonville will move before just about any other team will. The team is not only in a small market, but a small market that really doesn't care about the team. Look at their attendance and season ticket sales. Probably the lowest in the league...

Everything said about Jacksonville is true and theres another problem....When Jacksonville came into the league, the Orlando TV market had been the secondary market of the Dolphins for 30 years, and the Bucs for 20 years....becuase of that, a lot of Bucs and Dolphins fans reside in that area....when Jacksonville came in, they claimed Orlando as thier secondary market and that bumped the Dolphins....now, the majority of the Orlando area, wants the Dolphins broadcasts, but the local stations are required to show any game in which the Jags are away....further, because of the NFLs rules, if its a weekend in which the CBS affiliate only gets one game, Dolphins fans are sometimes left watching a movie at 1pm, because they have to show the Jags at 4pm(2 years ago there was a major uproar when they showed Rambo 2 instead of the Dolphins)....on average, Orlando market fans miss 6 Dolphins games a year now, after 30 years of getting every game....thats pissed off a large number of people in central FL and a lot of them dislike the Jags because of it....if a large portion of your 2ndry market hate you, its hard to sell out your stadium....last year when the Dolphins visited the Bucs, the game could not be broadcast locally because the Jags refused permission...that pissed off the bucs fan too....you cant piss off 2/3rds of the football fans in your state and expect to be too successful....

Bucs fans and Dolphins fans are not their market. You are just being bitter as a dolphins fan.

yea its hard to have a big fan base when there are three teams in the same state as u.... they do it in NY but Buffalo is so far away from NYC that the Giants and Jets arent affected

Who said anything about Bucs and Dolphins fans being thier market? Its one thing to not expect to market yourself to 90% of the football fans in your state....its another to alienate a large portion of those same fans....there is a backlash because of it....thats a fact....because of it, I wouldnt put a Jags shirt on my son if they paid me....because of it, I wouldnt attend a Jags game if they were free....because of it, the Jacksonville Jaguars will never see a dime of my money....and theres no way Im alone....conversely, I have 2 Bucs jerseys....ive been to 2 Bucs games in Tampa and 1 in Atlanta....when I was in SC, I even drove to Charlotte for a Rams/Panthers game(and watched the "Greatest Show on Turf" produce 3 pts and get killed 17-3)....the point being, that above all else Im a football fan but I would never support the Jags like that....and I bet a lot of locals feel exactly the same way....

I wondered why they put a team in J'ville. I believe it is to the NFL what Salt Lake City and San Antonio are to the NBA.

I'd like to say this is another example of the league keeping the phins down but can't find any "proof"
