    Honestly, I don't know why everyone is freaking out about this. Your employer, and basically commission, can make the rules. Dude broke the rules three times. I don't feel bad for him at all. Diaz has always been a moron and a screw the man kinda guy.

    90% of the ufc probably gets high, but they are smart enough not to get caught. Diaz probably didn't give a shit.

    But there are 2 issues here. 1st off Diaz hired a lawyer who treated this like a criminal hearing and got evidence and testimony to question the NASC and their ruling reeks of them just being petty and vindictive against having their authority questioned. While yes Diaz should likely be suspended, getting a suspension 5 times longer than ppl who get busted for PED's is excessive. Weed does not help you win fights and IMO anything the helps you win fights is what should be discouraged. Far more then recreational drugs.

    Secondly, it kinda confounds me that ppl can't see that Diaz has some type of learning disability, something along the lines of oppositional defiance disorder. He's not just a difficult hard ass to deal with, he has issues that he should really be addressing. Dana is an ass so of course this never dawns on him, I would think this idea would dawn on others. This guy had a tough up bringing and likely never received the help/counselling or attention he needed.

    I like how Diaz fights and I understand how his attitude can rub ppl the wrong way, but it's not entirely his fault either IMO. I will miss his unique style of fighting.

    There is a suggestion floating around that the UFC should let Nick Diaz fight in another state and not allow the NSAC to dictate policy/punishment across the nation. I think it is too soon for that. Let his lawyer appeal first.

    That, and the fact he was tested three times that night, passed twice, failed the middle test by a fucking landslide (obvious problem with the test), they took the two negatives and sent them to a WADA lab, sent the positive (labelled Nick Diaz, inappropriately, these things are supposed to be confidential) to a non-accredited lab, and still had the nerve to treat it as if he had failed. It is high-grade fuckery.
