Just got this email from our beloved franchise about a gear sale: Nice - charge me $10 to park to come shop your surplus gear?
I think most team's do this to clear out inventory. But as a Blazer Fan, this rocks. I need to make some extra Jack this week to go get me some.
I went a few years ago. Not sure why, our gear is awful, always has been... Sales were good but I've just never jived with anything they slap their logo on, which is weird because it's an amazing logo...
You realize it says it you buy they will pay for parking? Solid enough. Should know what to expect from there. Meaning why go in the first place if you don’t plan on getting a sweatshirt or some T-Shirts. Wonder if Jerseys are on Sale.
To each their own. I've not seen one piece of anything in the last decade that I felt was worth its the price, nor that I felt was all that well designed...
Congratulations. I mean that. But it's help lead the way to unaffordable housing. Not your fault. You got in at the right time. Me , i can't afford to live alone anymore.
This is not nickel and diming. It's just good business. If your going to that clearance sale to buy less than $35 worth of merchandise, I don't really know why you're going. If you are going to spend $35 or more which I'm assuming most will, then they aren't charging for parking. I'm not happy with how the team seems to have been overly concerned with spending the last couple of seasons (when it comes to the roster) but goddamn everything isn't a reason to rip on this franchise.
Have an Aunt that been there for 12 years and loves it, although they are having some issues with property damage/immigrants where they are at. She's always trying to help but some are disrespectful like anywhere else.
Of course it is! They're charging $10 to park in an otherwise empty parking garage midday on a non-event weekend day! How is that not nickel and diming?
Their trying to drive the minimum sales to $35 dollars. That's all there is to it. They are also giving their parking attendants some hours. I just don't see it as something to complain about. Just don't go!
I make several dollars more an hour than minimum wage and there's not a chance in hell I can live on my own. Even if I went without a car. It's really bad.
This is the 'hidden tax' of inflation and the federal reserve policies. You can't create wealth by printing it. 95% of people don't understand money.
