I would have voted for Joel Embiid, but this one is impossible to argue.
Both extremely deserving along with Giannis.
    Congratulations, Nikola!

    He’s sitting home.
Hard to be MVP when you’re out in the first round.

Is Jokic Back to Back MVP?

Also I would have gone with Embiid for sure. Jokic doesn’t deserve it back to back. Also Giannis and Embiid are both going deeper as Predator is pointing out. How often do MVP’s wash out in the first round I wonder?

Dirk only one I recall off hand. They really need to announce all of these awards right after the season, not wait to round 2 of the playoffs.

Jokic had a great season. He earned it. Embiid had a great season as well. I would not have argued against any of the three Giannis, Embiid or Jokic.

Thank You, oh so much for pointing that error out.
    It has been rectified.
And, (in a "Wade Garrett" voice..) "That's all I'm gunna say 'bout that."

I fully understand it’s a “regular season” award, but I struggle to believe that the most valuable player to his team in the “regular season” can’t at the *bare minimum* make it to the second round of playoffs. I’d actually say conference finals should be the absolute minimum tbh. If you’re so good in the regular season, you should be in the second round, at least.

Joker & Embiid should have been co. MVP’s. Too close to call.

Giannis should have had it over both. Same record as Embiid, comparable advanced numbers to Jokic.
