    Looks like the Nats are flying high into the World Series. Up 7-0 already. Who knew letting Harper walk would help them so much.

    ...as much as I dislike having Stanton on this team, I'd still rather have him than Harper.

    It is even more satisfying seeing the Nationals heading to the series Without Harper. Wonder what he's thinking ?... ....subtract me and you get to the series.

    I second that plus I'd add Machado to the shortlist of thankful for not acquiring..

    Machado wanted 30/35 million to play one and only one position. I am thankful neither one were not tendered an offer.
    Makes LeMahieu look even more amazing for excelling at 3 Positions for so less.
    I wonder if DJ can pitch.

    Yeah, DJ is by far the best utility man i the game but I would not be surprised if the Yanx make LeMahieu their full time 1Bman next year.

    From a Jack to a King. Early on in the season there were rumors of Martinez being fired, Scherzer being traded, a pathetic bull pen unable to close out game. Now the Nationals are National League Champs.
