Sep 28 - This summer, Trail Blazers star Brandon Roy was playing pickup basketball in Seattle when a familiar, albeit unpleasant, feeling returned: Pain from his left heel.

"It snuck up on me a little bit this summer," Roy said, saying it was the same pain, in the same area, that caused him to miss 20 of the team's first 25 games last season. "I had to come down (to Portland) and get treatment."

Roy says there is no reason for concern, however, insisting that his left heel is problem free ... at the moment.

"It's a deal where I don't know what it is," Roy said. "It was smooth, then one day I was playing and I was like 'There's that heel thing again', but it went away since then." -- The Oregonian
