DEERFIELD, Ill. -- Lost in the hoopla surrounding Derrick Rose's injured ankle over the past 24 hours was the fact that Joakim Noah played his best game in two months during the Chicago Bulls' 89-84 loss to the Indiana Pacers in Game 4 on Saturday at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Noah scored 21 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, finally resembling the player he was before November’s thumb surgery for the first time since his return on Feb. 23.

Yeah, I was happy about that. He needs to do it. Boozer and Noah have been like those two overly polite chipmunks who keep saying, "After you!" "No, no, I insist, after you!" The team stopped being a team for a time because of it.

Tuesday night would be a fantastic time for Boozer and Noah to finally "get it" and have great games at the same time.
