    wonder if this suggests Philly may keep Okafor? he's a lot cheaper then Noel as going to be this summer

    There has to be more reasons than just $$ that this trade was made if you're Philly.
    You don't trade a player like Noel, when you have Embiid who can step out and hit the three at a high clip.
    Has to be injury concerns for Noel.

    Kudos to Dallas if he stays healthy, Barnes + Noel could be the start of something.

    A 2015 first round pick, a 2018 first round pick, and giving up an expiring contract to get Noel for 25 games before paying him a massive number.

    Dallas gave up quite a bit.
