Truth be told CC is on the downside of his career. Health wise, the news is good. Pitching wise he's been
inconsistent. So, his coming back into the rotation can be the "bad" news. Really, pitching 3 to 5 innings
as a starter is not helping the team. He's an albatross waiting to retire!

...up until his last 2-3 starts CC was arguably the Yanx most consistent/best pitcher.

When watching the 4th game of the Cleveland series the Yes Broadcast Team said that the Yankees has stranded 46 baserunners since the all star break. The Yankees also discussed situational hitting after the game two loss in Cleveland. There must have been many absentees when that subject was discussed. .

At the all star break in '15 the Yankees were in fiest but had an aging team. Toronto added Tulowitzki and Price. They the commenced to sweep the Yankees at the stadium prompting Tex to comment "bump in the road" So here we are in '17 with the "Baby Bombers' Cashman makes trades and Toronto is still beating the shit out of the Yankees. A loss tonight places the Yankees record at 6=7.
