    Yankees games

Caleb Porter constantly saying "We were the better team out there today" in denial about why his team falls apart

I wish the Mariners didn't suck so bad. They've had a shitty front office for years.

I get HBO for Game of Thrones, and spend that time watching everything else that was on it during the time that GOT isn't on. Can't wait to watch Westworld.

Actually, if it weren't for the injuries in the beginning of the season (Felix, Kuma, Paxton, Haniger, Segura... It wasn't just one player) they would have a much better record. 17-8 since late may... 2nd best in that span of time. This is probably the best constructed team we've had in years. Our Front office is actually fine since Z is gone.

Gamel has lit it up (16 game hit streak, batting .450+ in that span) Zunino with close to 30 rbi's in 24 days since coming back from AAA. Motter held his own when Segura was out. Cruz leading the AL (and maybe the league) with 58 rbi's.

Now, with Felix back, Paxton back (although he has struggled the last couple of starts), Segura as well as Haniger... It's been great. Houston is far too much in the lead of the division, but barring more injuries, we actually have a shot at a WC spot.

Start watching games for once. Stop judging teams based on the past, maybe, and look at this year.

16-17 game replays on league pass. Watched CHA @ POR last night. Marvin Williams is solid, but his contract is high enough that acquiring him would be a side step.

Watching BKN @ POR right now. Some underestimate the impact of Nurks conditioning after riding the DEN bench. You can tell he wasn't in shape, and that all-star break he spent in Cali working out was good, but nothing compared to an entire offseason dedicated to preparing for his role going forward. Unlike the Nuggets we are not going to F things up and park him somewhere he doesn't belong... Nurk knows this, and that is why he is so committed to being in the best shape of his life. Even at 75% this guy was an effing BEAST. The nickname fits him well, I don't know how else to state it. The man isn't even in his best shape and he steals the ball and casually goes coast to coast getting the and 1, then gives a smile because I'm sure he loves playing for a coach who doesn't try to put his talents in a bottle. It's at 4:03 remaining in the 1st Q if you want to check it out for yourself.

It's crazy to me how salty Nuggets fans still are regarding Nurk. Just go watch some Denver games before they put Jokic into the starting lineup. It's almost like the guards were playing keep away from Nurk at certain times. I'm glad they did though, otherwise he may never have ended up here.

    Timbers/AVP.
Though gf doesn't like it when I watch the latter.
I have no idea why. Beach volleyball takes tremendous skill.

What do I watch? Nothing. I have things to do. Like, now that the seasons over, I finally have time to shave. And bathe. I look like Robin Williams in Jumanji. Need to do some laundry too. And yard work. My yard would make a good mafia dump site at this point. Should probably go see if my kids still live at home. Oh wait, when is Summer League?
